School of Music, Theatre & Dance
Tickets for School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD) events performances and concerts are available for $9 with a student ID. Purchase tickets at the League Ticket Office or online.
University Musical Society
The University Musical Society (UMS) is a performing arts presenter on the University of Michigan Campus. They offer student rush tickets, half-priced tickets, and a UMS Student Card. UMS and the Arts at Michigan also provide the Arts & Eats program to get free food and cheap tickets to great events.
Ann Arbor Civic Theatre
The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, a community theatre group, offers disounted tickets to students for all performances and half-off on Fridays. They can be purchased at a2ct.org.
Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra
The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra offers a $4 student discount on reserved tickets to any of the six Saturday season concerts and $10 off season subscriptions. Student Rush tickets for 50% off are available at the box office starting at 6 pm before each concert. $5 student tickets are occasionally available: call 734.994.4801 for details. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra
The DSO is a nationally- and internationally-recognized symphony orchestra based in Orchestra Hall in downtown Detroit. The DSO offers a student discount package called the Student Crush Card, which includes ten shows for $90. More information is available at detroitsymphony.com or at 313.576.5099.
Michigan and State Theaters
The Michigan and State Theaters, run by the same organization, offer a variety of art house and indie films. Located on campus, on Liberty and State streets, respectively, the theaters offer student tickets for $6.75 to all films. Ticket pricing is available at michtheater.org.
Performance Network
Performance Network is a professional off-Broadway theatre located in downtown Ann Arbor. Half price student rush tickets are sold the day of performances. Student subscriptions are also available. They start at $50 and go up to $75. Learn more at performancenetwork.org.
The Purple Rose Theatre Company
Purple Rose is a professional theatre company in Chelsea, Michigan, founded by Jeff Daniels. Student tickets are available for weekday performances at a 50% discount. Full details on tickets available at purplerosetheatre.org.

The Michigan Union Ticket Office, located on the ground floor of the Michigan Union, offers a full-service box office and acts as a Ticketmaster outlet.
