Arts at Michigan offers several programs designed to promote student involvement in arts and cultural opportunities on campus and in the community. Participate and get to know our programs below.
Kick off the year with the arts
Arts at Michigan and the UM Museum of Art celebrate Welcome Week by introducing more than 3,000 students to the variety of arts participation at an evening of art-making, live music, and prizes.
Something cool is happening, let’s go!
The Arts Ambassadors program is a brand-new initiative designed to increase student awareness of the arts on campus and help incoming students get involved in the arts.
Get outta town...
Travel with us across the state and beyond as we feature events that bring you to the arts. Each month, we expose ourselves to experiences outside of Ann Arbor that demonstrate the larger arts network.
Cheap tickets, free food
Wondered what’s inside an artist’s mind as he or she creates? Looking to connect with fellow students? We combine two things you can’t live without − great performances and free pizza — in one night.
Give us your perspective
Arts at Michigan believes there is an artist inside each of us. Check out this week’s featured photograph for one unique perspective.
The program with frequent “flyer” benefits
Open to all students, Passport to the Arts allows you to earn stamps for passport events. Collect these passport stamps to be eligible for great prizes and incentives throughout the year.
Engaging students in artistic activities
Arts at Michigan sponsors several hands-on workshops where you can engage in artistic activities. Come experience the personal and social transformation through the creative process.
